Terms of Service

Last updated: private beta — this page will carry a fixed effective date at public launch.

Pending founder/legal review: These terms describe what Galora actually offers today, verified against the live product. A few sections are marked with a placeholder where a business or legal decision is needed before this page is final for public launch.

Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Galora, operated by Galora Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Galora,” “we,” “us”). By creating a studio account, or by accessing a gallery a studio has shared with you, you agree to these terms.

The private beta

Galora is currently in private beta. All plans — Amateur, Professional, and Studio — are free during this period, with no payment collected and no credit card required. Beta features may change, and we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing takes effect for your account.

Studio accounts

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the client and guest information you upload, for having the right to photograph and share images of your clients and their guests, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload — we don’t claim any ownership over your work.

Acceptable use

Galora may only be used for legitimate event photography business purposes. You may not use it to upload content you don’t have rights to, to harass or impersonate anyone, or to attempt to access another studio’s data or another guest’s photos or personal information.

Guests and event clients

If you’re a guest accessing a gallery, your access is governed by the studio that invited you and by our Privacy Policy. You can request erasure of any biometric data (a submitted selfie and its face embedding) at any time.

Payments and refunds

During the private beta, no payment is collected. Once paid plans go live, subscriptions are billed annually via Razorpay, and credit purchases are processed via Cashfree.

Pending founder/legal review: A specific refund policy (cancellation windows, partial-year refunds, credit refunds) needs a founder decision before payments go live — this section will be completed then, not invented now.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We’ll do our best to give notice of planned maintenance and to communicate any significant incident affecting your data or galleries.

Termination

You can close your studio account at any time and export your data beforehand. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to Galora or to other users.

Governing law

Pending founder/legal review: The specific governing law and jurisdiction for disputes needs a founder/legal decision (typically the state of incorporation or principal place of business) before this section can name a specific court/jurisdiction.
